What Makes Us Different?

The Creative Department is an advertising agency of pioneers, visionaries, brand builders, entrepreneurs and irrepressible thinkers. When we started in 1992, we were the first Cincinnati agency to be staffed entirely by creative people, without traditional account executives. (THAT one raised a bunch of eyebrows.) We embraced digital communication long before other traditional agencies in town.

The truth is, we were just different.

And while our industry has changed in profound and exciting ways over the past 25 years, our focus hasn’t wavered. We’re still an independent, creatively-driven advertising agency, developing the ideas that help businesses build unbreakable bonds with their consumers. We’re driven by our desire to help our clients succeed. We’re obsessed with results.

So we work to understand what’s next. We work to bring clients’ brands decisively into the moment, through strategy, equity, messaging and engagement. Wherever and however this must happen.
